	• The Pope's Palace Place du Palais 84000 Avignon tel. 04 90 27 50 00. Popes residence in the 14th century and the world's biggest Gothic palace. Chapels, cloisters, private papal appartments, sumptuous frescoes. Classified UNESCO World Heritage. Price : 10,50€.
	• Buoux medieval fortress 84480 Buoux - tel. 04 90 74 25 75. Near the fortress stand the cliffs, now praised by rock climbers, that hosted men of the Musterian Age. After a short walk on a signposted trail, visit the Oppidum, the 13th century fortress, medieval system of military defence. Price : 3€./ 2€ with touristic passport. Free under 7 years old.
	• Bread-making Museum 12 rue République 84480 Bonnieux - tel. 04 90 75 88 34. History of wheat growing and breadmaking. Closed november to mars. Price: 3,50€ / 1,50€ . Open 10am-1pm and 2-6pm
	• L'enclos des bories Qt Rinardas 84480 Bonnieux tel. 06 08 46 61 44. The site is built with many drystone works : bories, ovens, wells. Price : 5€/groups 4€/free under 12 years old. Open from april to mid-november. Other period : please phone before.
	• Cedar Forest 84480 Bonnieux. At 700 m high, the cedars forest extends in Bonnieux, Lacoste and Ménerbes. A discovery path can be recommanded to both hikers and bikers. 8 information posts on typical Luberon plant life. 2 hours walk from the car-park, 7 km away from Bonnieux.
	• Basket-making Museum av. Ph. de Girard 84160 Cadenet - tel. 04 90 68 24 44. Built on the site of a former wicker-works workshop, the museum displays this craft linked to the nearby Durance river. Price : 3,50/1,50€. Open 10-12am and 2.30-6.30pm except tuesday, wednesday morning, and sunday morning.

	• Synagogue / Jewish Comtadin Museum 52 place Castil Blaze 84300 Cavaillon tel. 04 90 76 00 34. In the Middle-Ages, the area under protection of the Pope was an asylum for the jewish community. The museum tells the history of Provençal Jewish culture. Price : 1,50€. Closed tuesdays.
	• Lavender Museum 84220 Coustellet - tel. 04 90 76 91 23. Rich display of copper lavender stills from the 16th century to the present days jours, history, distillation and virtues of fine lavender. Price : 6 €/free under 15 years old.
	• Prieuré de Carluc 04110 Céreste tel. Owned by Montmajour abbey, the prieuré (Xth/XIIth) was an important stop for pilgrims on the way to spain or Italy. See the church, tombs carved in rock. Visit on own.
	• The Fountain of Vaucluse - 84800 Fontaine de Vaucluse - tel. 04 90 20 32 22. France's most important spring - World ranking : 5th - 630 millions m3 water per year.
	• Glass-making and Stained-glass Museum / Moulin des bouillons - Route de St Pantaléon 84220 Gordes - tel. 04 90 72 22 11. Closed tuesdays. The 7000 years glass history is told through an amazing collection of objets and stained-glass from all centuries. Nearby, the Bouillons Olive Mill (16th century) : vaulted rooms, Gallo-roman press with a 10 m long oak beam. Price : 5€ for one museum / 7,50€ for 2 museums.
	• Bories Village - Les Savournins 84220 Gordes - tel. 04 90 72 03 48. Bories are made of drystones, without any use of mortar. The site, abandonned 150 years ago, is a unique collection of these typical stone huts. Price : 6€/5€ with touristic passport.
	• Abbaye de Sénanque 84220 Gordes - tel. 04 90 72 05 72. The abbey is a community of Cistercian monks. Visits of the 12th century abbey is limited, and in respect of the site devoted to prayer. Reservation is required. Price guided visit : 7€.
	• Gordes Castle / Pol Mara Museum 84220 Gordes - tel. 04 90 72 02 75. 16th century castle, combining Medieval and Renaissance architecture. See the biggest fireplace in Europe. After displaying Victor Vasarely' s works, it exhibits Pol Mara' s, a contemporary Flemish painter. Price : 4€.
	• Caves du palais Saint Firmin - rue Belvédère 84220 Gordes tel. 04 90 72 02 75. Open 11am-7pm. Discover Gordes' underground : salles troglodytes, citernes, oil mills and parcours sensoriel. Price : 6€/familly 18€.
	• Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Lumières 84220 Goult - tel. 04 90 72 25 05. Built by the Carmes' Monks, in 1664, when sudden mysterious lights appeared. It is dedicated to the Mother of Eternal Light. Since 1827, Oblats de Marie Immaculée are hosting pilgrims. Pilgrimage on the 8th sept. for Mary' s birth and the 15th august for Assumption.
	• Conservatoire des terrasses de culture 84220 Goult The "restanques" or "bancau" in Provençal language, are facing the south, thus sheltering crops from the Mistral wind and frost. See the borie, tank, aiguier and many Luberon's typical drystone constructions.
	• Marquis de Sade Castle - Espace Lacosta rue basse 84480 Lacoste tel. 04 90 75 93 12. In 1771, the marquis comes to live at the castle, after the Paris scandals. He will stay for 7 years. In 1816, the building is demolished and all the stones are sold. In 2001, the castle, partially restored is bought by Pierre Cardin, becoming a cultural centre.

Former Benedictine Priory. 6 theme gardens : the medieval, the simples' plants, the Fragrance, the Contemporary, the White oak and the Vegetable gardens. 	• Corkscrew Museum - Domaine Citadelle 84220 Ménerbes - tel. 04 90 72 41 58. Over 1000 corksrews, from the 17th century to the present day, made of steel, gold, ivory and visit the winery. Price : 4€/3,50€.
	• Dolmen de la Pitchoune 84560 Ménerbes On the road to Bonnieux, at the foot of the village, you can find the unique dolmen in Vaucluse.
	• Abbaye de Saint Hilaire 84560 Ménerbes Romanesque abbey built the the Carmes monks. See : Renaissance stairs, a 17th century cloisters, remnants. From Easter to All saints day, 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. Private property. Price : 1€.
	• La Muse - Musée Vaudois - 84360 Mérindol - tel : 04 90 72 91 64. Exhibitions concerning this religious minority in the world and in Luberon. Free.
	• Oppede Castle 84580 Oppède 13th century. The Lord Jean Meynier d'Oppède, owner of the 13 th century castle is known the 1545 massacre of the Waldesian heretics in Mérindol. (Private monument not to be visited).
	• Val Joanis gardens - Route de Cavaillon 84120 Pertuis - tél. 04 90 79 20 77. In a wine estate, a formal garden, made of terraces (vegetable garden, orchard et ornamental garden). Classified "Jardin remarquable" in 2005. Visit wine cellar thursdays at 4pm.
	• Ochre trail 84220 Roussillon Quarries and cliffs, one of the most famous sights. 40 minutes walk, information panels. Visit on own from March to November. Car-park : 3€. Entrance 2,50€/1,50€ with touristic passport.
	• Okhrâ - 84220 Roussillon tel. 04 90 05 66 69. In the former Mathieu ochre factory, Okhrâ displays the ochre activity. Workshops, initiation to the different techniques and use of colours : coating, distemper, whitewash, ... Centre for colour, know-how and training. Price : 6 €/4e with touristic passport.

	• Abbaye de Valsaintes 04150 Simiane la Rotonde - tél. 04 92 75 94 19. 4th Cistercian abbey in Provence. Historic site and rose garden (500 rose bushes). Open from march to 11th november 2010. Price : 5€ / 6€. Free under 12 years old. Guided visits on appointment.
	• Château / La Rotonde 04150 Simiane la Rotonde - tél. 04 92 73 11 34 The castle and the famous dungeon are now dedicated to aromatic and medicinal plants : history and therapy by plants, the Provence co-operative centre, distillation, aromatherapy, courses, conferences, … Open from april to september. Price : 4€.
	• Musée "Mémoire de pierres, mémoire d'hommes" 04110 Vachères tél. 04 92 75 67 21. Geology and archaeology from 100 millions years ago (including the Bachiterium fossil, or " Vachères gazelle ") to the Roman times. Open may to sept.
