Viens
This ancient village - which celebrated its millennium in 1990 - has much to offer visitors.
The village is surrounded by ramparts built between the 11th and 13th centuries. A walk through the town (via the belfry or the Notre-Dame gate), will take you along narrow streets past a castle, bakery, and the Monier de la Quarré house.
Outside the ramparts stands the church of Saint-Hilaire and the Hôtel de Pontevès, now the Mairie (village hall).
Towards Oppedette you can see the Chapelle Saint-Ferréol, a venue for concerts and exhibitions.
